SNOW days at hogwarts
From January 9th - 13th come out for fun games, competitions, building friendships and rekindling old ones. Check out the schedule below for all the events that will be taking place. Frost week is almost like Frosh week but the goal is to reorient folks to the Stong Community after a long winter break and weeks of studying. We want to bring you back with a warm welcome into our Stong Family and an inclusive space to meet others and bring folks back together! See y'all there!

DAY 1 - JAN 9, 2023
EVENT 1 - SPARTANS AND LADDERS CAFE
Time: 12 PM - 5 PM
Location: Stong Lounge
This event will be a drop-in style event with a sign-in table for participation. This will ensure that you are entered into the raffle and made aware of any upcoming events during that week. We will have board games and tons of other games! While this is taking place in person, riddles will be released on Instagram about council members, you need to guess all of the council members correctly to get double entry into the raffles.
EVENT 2 - DE FROST KARAOKE
Time: 8 PM - 10 PM
Location: Stong MDR
This event will fun Karoke night! You will sign in to be entered into the raffles and have a great night with us!
EVENT 3 - LATE NIGHT CHILLS
Time: 10:30 PM - 12 AM
Location: Stong Lounge
This event is basically like Spartans Campfire from Frosh! Hang out with us in the lounge and play some games!
EVENT 1 - SNOW BALLED MURDER MYSTERY NIGHT
Time: 6 PM - 7:30 PM
Location: Stong Lounge
This event will be a MURDER MYSTERY! We will all start in the Stong Lounge. Emily, the headmaster, has been killed and you have to search Stong College to find out who did it!
EVENT 3 - PAINT AND JAM NIGHT
Time: 7:30 PM - 9:30 PM
Location: Stong MDR
This event will be a fun paint night with some nice music playing in the back! Everything you need will be provided for you, along with some basic paitining knowledge and inspirations photos!
EVENT 3 - LATE NIGHT CHILLS
Time: 10:30 PM - 12 AM
Location: Stong Lounge
This event is the same for every night! It is like Spartans Campfire from Frosh! Hang out with us in the lounge and play some games!
DAY 2 - JAN 10, 2023
DAY 3 - JAN 11, 2023
EVENT 1 - HOT CHOCOLATE SOCIAL
Time: 5 PM - 7 PM
Location: Calumet 100 (JCR)
In this event, you are able to create your own hot coco with whipped cream, sprinkles, and wafer straws! There will also be a cookie decorating table, arcade games, and a pool table.
EVENT 2 - ICY PUMP UP PARTY
Time: 6:30 PM - 7:30 PM
Location: Stong Lounge
This event will be a fun pump-up party like the ones in frosh! This is to get us ready for our next event, the talent show!
EVENT 3 - STONG HOUSES GOT TALENT
Time: 7:30 PM - 10 PM
Location: Calumet 100 (JCR)
This event will be our talent show! Sign up to show off any talent you have. It could be anything from solving a Rubiks Cube and making a sandwich to dancing and singing!
EVENT 4 -LATE NIGHT CHILLS
Time: 10:30 PM - 12 AM
Location: Stong Lounge
This event is the same for every night! It is like Spartans Campfire from Frosh! Hang out with us in the lounge and play some games!
EVENT 1 - SKATE NIGHT
Time: 4:15 PM - 6:15 PM
Location: Canlan Ice Sports
This event will allow you to skate with your friends and have an amazing time! Please bring your own skates!
EVENT 2 - SNOWED IN MOVIE NIGHT
Time: 7 PM - 10 PM
Location: Stong Lounge
We will be watching a top-voted winter movie or a harry potter movie in the lounge!
EVENT 3 - LATE NIGHT CHILLS
Time: 10:30 PM - 12 AM
Location: Stong Lounge
